Book Club: Exiting the 21st Century (1/3)

  • Exhale Mekelweg Delft, ZH, 2628 CN Netherlands (map)

How do we find our way toward a more equal and less oppressive future?

Drawing from pre-selected texts, Exiting the 21st Century: Tracing How We Got Here is a workshop which aims to pause and reflect on the times live in. Running across three sessions, it is grouped around the subjects of “individualism,” “gender,” and “performance/spectacle”. We’ll be discussing the readings and how they relate to the present moment, while making use of games, mind-mapping, memes, visual arts, and literature. The workshop aims to think through the difficult but pressing question: How do we find our way toward a more equal and less oppressive future?

This workshop is hosted by Busra Erkara and takes place in ‘Connect.’

Please Note: This workshop takes place across multiple evenings: 14 March, 4 April, and 2 May. We recommend participating in all three workshops but it’s up to you. You must reserve a ticket to each event individually.
